Pricing
There are two prices quoted for each work. The first labelled "Pickup" is the cost of the work if it is picked up from a place specified by the maker. Usually that will be their home or their studio. The second labelled "Couriered" is the cost of shipping the work to the buyer within New Zealand. When you purchase the work you will be asked to specify which of these two options you prefer.

Packing and dispatch
Postage, including packaging is included in the "Couriered" price. The "Couriered" price only applies to NZ addresses. We offer competitive shipping rates to our overseas customers. We will only use reputable national/international express courier companies. All packaging is to a high professional standard.

We aim to ship within seven days but please allow ten for delivery. We are advised that shipping to countries outside New Zealand should take up to 14 working days, but our experience is that it can take less.

Dimensions
All measurements are approximate. Sizes are given for the height, width and, when appropriate, depth. The measurement units used are centimetres (cm).

This site started out as an effort to provide ceramic artists in Christchurch, New Zealand with an outlet for their work after the devastating earthquake that essentially destroyed the business district, and much of urban Christchurch in 2010. After suffering the loss of their physical outlets in the earthquakes some of these studio artists formed the Cracked Pots Society and launched this website which gives the public a chance to again see and buy their work.

Since that time ceramic artists have found new ways to display and sell their work. In 2015 NZ Potters took over the site and offerred it as a free service to members in New Zealand.

ceramicsonline.co.nz has now been handed over to Lawrence Ewing who hopes to further develop the site and offer it to all potters and ceramic artists in New Zealand.
